MEET THE TEAM
We reckon we have some of the most welcoming and experienced surf instructors on the Island.
We like to think of ourselves as one big happy family, and there’s no one we’d rather spend our summers with!
Fabien
Fabs is the owner of Splash and loves nothing more than to share his stoke for life, the ocean and the great outdoors. He believes that all children and adults using the beach should have an understanding of the sea, surf safety, sun protection and the wonderful coastal environment on Jersey. You’ll pretty much always be guaranteed to find him around the Shak and if he can’t get you excited for a surf, no one can!
Jasper
Jasper has just spent the winter exploring the world travelling and working as a surf instructor. Jasper now spends his winters studying for a degree in marine biology but in the summers he always has a smile on his face and a sausage and egg roll in hand. Jasper is the most popular choice for private lessons and gets many requests for his warm coaching approach and continual enthusiasm no matter the conditions.
Lucy
Lucy is a veteran at the surf school having spent many summers here teaching and having fun. Lucy is a friendly, funny and talented instructor who has refined her teaching style over many seasons. Lucy has recently spent a couple of years living is Australia as well as surfing in every corner of the globe.
Daisy
Daisy grew up spending her summers at the beach, even taking part in our summer camps as a child, learning about the sea, surf and sun whilst having an absolute blast. Daisy’s warm and friendly approach enables her to get develop and progress even the most intimidated surfers.
Cameron
Cameron loves having a laugh! He loves teaching people to surf because of the pure enjoyment they get out of the experience. It makes us appreciate how lucky we really are to be able to live in the place we live and do what we do! Cam has a lot of experience with younger children and is often a favourite for family lessons.
Finn
You’ve not met a beach dog until you’ve met this golden boy. You’ll find our chilled out soul animal basking in the sunshine, or running out into the waves to join in a class! Loves a good stroke and all the good vibes.
